DGPS Surveying, Promark-3

DGPS Surveying, Promark-3
Goodland Surveys Uses 4 unit of DGPS for fixing the ground control points.  The instrument and the adopted methodology gives a perfect accuracy standard, as minimum as 1:25000.  (The mentioned accuracy level is between DGPS and Conventional Total Station Traverse, not just between DGPS Observations).

We observe with 4 DGPS units, a base and three rovers (or) 2 base and 2 rovers as explained the picture below.

Survey in Static Mode, observation for 50 minutes or more time span according to site + satellite position and post processing are required.  GNSS Solutions is a software for downloading the data and Processing the data.  While processing the data to be checked for a triangle closure, data masking and other errors.  If the processing results are up to the standards then the network to be adjusted and results will be given.

Between the DGPS points, with a quality total station to be used for traversing.  5" accuracy or better angular accuracy machine is essential with Tribratch+adapter+prism units for Change Points and Back side points.  While traverse, the angular measurements (Included Angle) and Distance to be recorded.  While calculating, the angular error (Bearing) to be distributed first then the accuracy level to be calculated.

If the accuracy level is up to the standard, then the error to be distributed and final values can be used.

Methodology for the Topographical Survey work for Land Survey

Methodology for the Topographical Survey work for Land Survey Identifying the Boundary corners of the Proposed Project If the proposed project area are covered few villages and having Hundreds of individual survey nos., with the help of combined village map provided by the revenue departments and with the help of revenue surveyors, we can identify the all Corners of the boundary. Fixing of Horizontal Control Points The Horizontal Control points will be fixed by the DGPS on the permanent locations on all major corners of the area and also on the center of the proposed project area.  The secondary control points shall be fixed on available permanent location by Total Station. Traverse Total Station having 5” or more accuracy shall be used for this activity. The Traverse loops to be connected to DGPS pairs and closing error to be calculated. The error shall be adjusted on all points fixed by Total Stations thru  Bowditch Rule . The accuracy will be 1:20,000. Fixing of...
